Hi folks. My 2-1/2 year old daughter has peanut & tree nut allergies so we of course read labels and when in the cookie/cracker aisle we tend to gravitate toward Dare products because we know they are safe. Occasionally though, I find myself hankering an Oreo cookie or a little Cheese Nip but haven't given into the craving because i'm not sure of the Mr. Christie's labeling policy. Does anyone eat Christie's stuff? Has anyone emailed or called (um... maybe I should just do that myself...)

Any thoughts?

I eat christie's baked goods. I did check a long time ago, and they do lable *may contain*.

Just an fyi -- remember that all the information you read on allergy forums is coming from strangers on the internet. You should verify the information yourself anyway. I find it's great to get information about a company or a product that I never thought to check, or that used to be unsafe - but then I call to verify it. It's also a great place to compare what people get told by the CSR's at a company -- it's good when we all get the same information.

Thanks for the reply, and you are definitely right, I should and will check it out myself. It's just that my midnight craving for Oreo's was not well timed with customer service hours!

Thanks again!

Also yummy by Christie's: Thinsations Oreos, Chips Ahoy and Golden Oreos. They are also egg-free. As stated by Anne Marie, make sure you call first. Beware that not all Thinsations are safe... they now have a peanut butter cookie!!!!! But the Thinsations Oreos and Chips Ahoys were found to be okay (first learned of these on this very chat forum from Karen OASG).
