I walked in from work yesterday to find the magazine on my table, open with my mom's writing circling the section of the dating article that I was interviewed in, with the words "my wise daughter" at the top...isn't she cute? Well, Lisa Fitterman did a great job on the entire piece. It gives a well rounded look at the pros and cons of having this extra precaution thrown into a relationship.

The rest of the magazine was great too, as usual! Can't believe it's already going to be 5 years next year. What an accomplishment Gwen and thank you so much. I think this magazine has brought more comfort into people's lives than you know!

Lisa, that's very nice of you to say - because that is exactly our goal. I do hope so.

As I wait for each new A.L. to arrive I keep wondering if it is possible that the next issue will be as informative and as great as previous issues. Once again I am pleasantly surprised as all of you at A.L. have yet again managed to find even more relevant and touching articles all so poignant for the allergic community.
Thank you!! Happy 5th!!

Lisa, I will re-read the dating article again :D .

We've been receiving some good feedback to this issue, I'm happy to report.

The cover article on dating with allergies/celiac is particularly popular topic - getting lot of e-mails at editor@allergicliving.com from singles, teens - and it seems even parents anticipating dating for kids with food allergies. (Love those thinking ahead allergy moms.)
Thanks to those who've written about the article and tips, and those who told their own stories to us, too.

Anyone who doesn't subscribe, can see an excerpt of the dating article here: http://www.allergicliving.com/features.asp?copy_id=336
