It's been close to a year, but we finally got an appt with the allergist for the end of March. Good thing I have time to plan, I had 101 pressing questions since DS had a severe PA reaction, but many have been somewhat resolved by adjusting to life with anaphylaxis. I don't want to leave the appt and think 'darn, I should have asked about....' any suggestions??

I am interested in the skin test results for other foods, and I really want to ask about how to proceed with the younger sibs.

That's great! Who's your allergist? We've seen Dr. Doctor, Dr. Serushago, Dr. Cheuk & Dr. Vander Leek in Alberta.

I just finished reading an awesome book about allergies, and I wish I had read it before my 1st appt - would have caught me right up! It's "Managing Your Child's Food Allergies" by Dr. Scott Sicherer. I took it out of our local library, but am going to buy it. It answers all your questions about the various testing methods, how results are interpreted, etc, so by the time you get to your appt you will know exactly what you need to ask!
