I got a letter back saying that they recieved my letter and will be looking into it further. They will send me another letter soon, when they have reviewed it. If anyone else is from sask please send a letter too!

My time is extremely limited but I would be happy to do what I can. I'm in Saskatoon. You can email me privately if you want. I just wrote a super-long post on the schools section explaining my situation. :D

I recieved a personal letter from the education minister. He advised me to contact the future school and gave me the phone numbers of the school board and other people to contact if I am not satisfied with what the school is willing to do. He also told me to write back if I was still not satisfied.

He said that legislation was being looked into, but I got the impression that he was satisfied with how things are at the present. I encourage anyone, especially if you have a horror story or are dissatisfied with the way your school is handling your child to speak up and tell the minister about it. That is the only way we will get legeslation.

I would post the names and phone numbers I got, but they are local...and I don't think anyone else lives in my district.
