Dd got hives around the mouth after eating a salad that had white wine vinegar in its' salad dressing. Of course! Egg shells are used to clarify wines. Bad mommy, bad mommy.
I have called companies to inquire about balsamic vinegar.
Quote:
True artisian balsamic vinegar by definition does not use egg shels to clarify the wine however comercial balsamic vinegar may contain wines clarified using egg shells.

Mommies often give their kids treats once in a while. We discovered that some rootbeers and cream sodas contain an ingredient that is stabalized with egg white.
