My boyfriend and I are eager to do some traveling and especially in the colder months heading to Dominican, or Cuba, or even Mexico sounds fantastic, but I have always been weary due to my anaphylactic tree nut allergy and sensitivity to shell fish. I am not allergic to peanuts and while this serves helpful in the States and Canada while traveling I am not familiar with places further south that can accommodate me.

Has anyone had a great experience with a resort? Or even a bad one so I know where to steer clear of?
Anything would be really helpful. While other message boards have basically said NOT to travel, I really don't think that's fair and love to be on the move.
Thanks!

Why don't you take a look at this article by Scott McKenzie for Allergic Living's Winter 2007 edition?
