I found a great recipe that I tweaked to be peanut-free. Originally the recipe is like a Peanut S'More Square but instead of using peanut butter I used Freenut Butter. They were amazing! If you'd like to check out the recipe come to my blog www.thebakingbookworm.blogspot.com. This recipe is also egg-free so I'll post it in that forum as well.

Nice recipe.
Just a reminder folks - always watch labels on chocolate chips.

There are good peanut-free brands, but watch out for "may contain" peanut, tree nut warnings.
Also many "chips" do contain dairy and soy. If you can't find free-of brands in your area,
order a bunch of Enjoy Life chips online.

good point Gwen. I noticed a couple more brands I used to buy now have may contain warnings for peanuts/tree nuts lately.
-Good if they are complying with labeling, also good if they have changed manufacturing processes and have due to this added the warning.
- Bad if it means they just didn't add the warning before and allergic people were using them :freak .
