Right now there's only info in French:

... but apparently a batch of Nuvel margarine may be contaminated with dairy. The CFIA has been alerted and is working on the case, but so far I have not received any official notice from them.

But it's something to keep an eye on if you use this product.

Kind of bugs me that the copmpany implied that it was contamination that occured outside of their factory as opposed to checking into the problem right away. I'm glad the family had a closed and sealed one with the same batch number for the food inspection agency so that they could get another sample from the same batch that had no chances of being contaminated in the house, just to prove their point. It;s frightening to think that this girl spent 3 days in hospital because of a product that should be trustworthy, it makes me wonder sometimes, as I know that it can be possible that anything can contain an allergen by accident. Makes me glad my husband liked fleishmans better!
