We will be travelling through to Quebec this week and staying in Ottawa Thursday, Bresserer Street area. Then again Monday, and Monday we will be at CHEO.

Does anyone have suggestion of good grocery stores in the area that have gluten-free, allergy friendly shopping?

Thanks

I'll do a quick for you and post what I find out. From my own shopping it seems every major grocery store I've been in appears to have a well stocked gluten free section. Superstore, LOEB, Sobey's etc..

Thank you...it looks like there is a Loblaws near by, doing some quick research online I should be able to find some food there.

On this site The Celiac Association of Ottawa - lists Loblaws as carrying gluten free products. I know almost all grocery stores do, maybe there are some with an even greater selection.

Good luck with the visit and at CHEO. I have heard that they prepare gluten free meals if needed, not sure though if that means for those staying over night or in the cafeteria?
