We are delighted to announce that a member of this Forum is now an Associate Editor of Allergic Living.

Lisa Ferlaino, who you know as "Lisa" on these boards, is already hard at work with us on the brand new website.
You'll see her byline soon in the magazine, too.

She is a graduate in communications, with writing and website experience.
We look greatly forward to the contributions Lisa will make to both the magazine and the website.

Congratulations Lisa, and welcome aboard!

:happydance

I feel like I know you so well Lisa that when reading Gwen's post I had the instinctive urge to pick up the phone and call you to shout share in such an exciting moment. We have never met and have only contacted by PM /this forum yet you like so many others on the A.L. forum I really feel like I truly 'know'. :huggy

Hugs and I am so sincerely happy for you Lisa.
Does that mean you are moving to Toronto.....I bet there is a great pool of men there!!

Warmly, your friend, Michelle
This is yet another example of how we can take a so called negative or challenge in life and through hard work and the right attitude create a positive life altering experience from it.

Congratulations Lisa :happydance

How nice to start a new venture with a "family" you have already come to know. Often when starting something new there is hesitation, I am sure this is one time you are jumping in head first. :banana

Good choice AL! :goodidea

Thanks so much Gwen and everyone else! It is truly an honour for me. I love AL as if it were my own and will treat it that way. I know how much it means to all of you and I look forward to contributing to it in a positive way.

Michelle, I feel like we are friends too. Thanks :)

Paige, definitely jumped headfirst! I knew it was the right thing for me.

And thanks Helen!

Hey!! All my best wishes to you Lisa. I'm remembering when I first began in my career many years ago. My DD will be glad for you too!! We (DD & I) had discussed this awhile ago after reading an article of yours in AL. I guess we were right! Both of us look forward to hearing (reading) about your experiences as a young adult being on your own. It is so nice to know someone has been where you (or your loved one) is going.

Allergic Living, great addition to your team!! I look forward to many more informative issues.

Michele
