Awesome victory for us!! Schneiders 100% Turkey hot dogs are SAFE! They are even made in a seperate facility from their beef hot dogs, so I don't have to worry about cross contamination on those grounds. They aren't cheap, but they last long enough because I buy the regular ones for my husband and I, and we make hers either first or in a seperate pot (we dont' own a bbq..)

Fantastic! It's especially great when your child can eat something similar to the other kids. Here's a tip that might come in handy... we always wrap our son's hot dog in foil if we are at a party so that his hot dog can go onto the same bbq as the others and remain safely in it's foil. We also bring along separate tongs to handle his hot dog once it's cooked. The other tip that might come in handy is to bring along your own portable bbq to gatherings... we bought ours at Walmart for around $20 - $25. You buy those small Coleman propane tanks to attach. This way you KNOW the food you are preparing is safe.

So glad you found a safe hot dog. And now your child can join in eating a hot dog with the other kids! Yippee!

You said it Julie: especially when it's a hot dog!

I'm a fan of foil too. I brought my own "safe" homemade burgers to 2 bbqs this summer.
Just put the on the foil, I'll do the flipping with my separate spatula, and voila - no soy from the soy-containing pre-fab burgs.
