It was a very happy Thanksgiving and I just want to say how proud I am of my in-laws. There are a few allergies / intolerances, and we just had a Thanksgiving weekend where the food allergies were of no concern. We had a gluten free, dairy free, egg free, tomato free weekend without any complaints (from the kids or adults) or reactions! :happydance

Isn't that great to hear.

And my sister - the one who used to not get label reading - outdid herself, too. She was making stuffing for the bird and suddenly realized that all the packaged bread she had contained soy. So she scrambled out on Sunday to a bakery on the Danforth (in Toronto) that she knows doesn't use soy.

That made me verklempt. I mean she was doing a ton of veggies and all. It was extra bother she didn't need and didn't really need to go to. She did the stuffing on the side, so could have just told me to avoid.

I brought my safe pumpkin pie, so a feast all round.

Three cheers, and double dancing banana men, for rellies who get it! :banana :banana
