Food Allergies Rock! Musician Releases New CD for Children Affected by Allergies

Quote:
Canadian performer and educator Kyle Dine is the world's first "Allergy Musician". Dine's new CD, "Food Allergies Rock!", contains 14 singalong songs that put a positive spin on food allergies. The album will be released Wednesday, October 27th, with the U.S. launch being held at a food-allergy-friendly Halloween party in the New York City metro area on Sunday, October 31.

"Food Allergies Rock!" is the follow-up to Dine's breakthrough CD, "You Must Be Nuts!", which stayed near the top of the Galaxie children's radio charts for months in 2008. Since releasing his first album, Dine has played at hundreds of schools across Canada and the U.S. This past May, his performance in Texas was broadcast to 25,000 students across the state in a program which featured fellow allergy advocate and country music star Trace Adkins.

We ordered the CD through Anaphylaxis Canada last week and my daughter received it right away. She loves it and is a big fan of Kyle's! He came to our school 2 years ago. The songs are easy to pick up and have such positive messages!

What's her favourite?

I couldn't get the Epineph-friend song outa my head for days.

People in the office were rolling their eyes as I'm humming: "epi, epi, epi, epi, epi-NEPH-prine". That Kyle's good.

That's too funny Gwen! Sounds like you need to download My Epineph-Friend as a ringtone!

I'm not sure which one is her favourite yet but I often have "Food Allergies Rock" running through my head.

LOVE the new CD, each tune is so catchy . DS dances away to his allergy music. I find I am constantly humming one the songs. At least other allergy mom's will think I'm cool. :rofl
Ode to parents still tears me up every time. :thanksign

R just can't believe that someone out there really gets it! It's like he went thru grade 4 having food allergies.
 Yeah, well, he sorta did.
She told me a few days ago about a classmate who thought her MedicAlert bracelet was cool and wanted to know where they could get one. I showed her a jewelry store flyer with an ad for an ID bracelet andtold her they should ask for one of those. (FA wannabe!)
I was given a copy of the CD (Thanks Karen!) and a few songs in...Cool Bracelet! :happydance
