My son loves the new mini slider burgers from PC. I called about the buns (that nasty sesame allergy!) and was thrilled all was good. In the last two weeks we've had them three times. Every time he vomits and won't eat as many as usual. I thought he was fighting a stomach flu. I called yesterday and the meat patties are processed on line that also processes sesame. I was hugely relieved -thought he was developping a new allergy.
Just thought I'd share!

We allergy moms are an odd bunch! :huggy
That strange feeling of relief in the face of allergies ...been there, done that!

Too bad your son was sick; glad it's cause has been discovered. It's hard when the major reaction is vomitting as it can easily been misinterpreted as flu.

Glad there isn't a new allergen to have to deal with!

Thanks Susan. I did get some odd looks when I jumped for joy at the existence of sesame! :bouncygreen

I'm confused. they told you they were safe...but didn't check the ingredients of the patties?

I would have been fuming.

I called about the buns originally. Never even considered the patties to be honest. Clearly, huge oversight on my part. PC is usually pretty trustworthy to label - in my experience.

NO! No sesame warning. The patties are made on a line that runs sesame. Another letter to add to my to do list.

That is AWFUL!!! I thought PC was good about labeling?? So many of their products have nut warnings we have pretty much stopped buying them, but having incomplete info is so scary! Do they normally label for sesame in their products?
