I am thinking of maybe picking a weekend day in May and having a Food Allergy Picnic (no food) but lots of water. The fountain at the Alberta Legistlative Building http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-5677258 ... lding.html should be in working order (the last time I was there for a rally it was being fixed). Susan, do you remember where that picture is? oh,found it http://www.flickr.com/photos/grantneufeld/3520212358/ The Friends of Medicare (FoM) were there and the Singing Grannies (I love them, maybe I should see if they would have an idea for a song. We were well received that day. People that are interested in things and want to make change do tend to flock together. Raj Sherman has been talking to David Eggen w/FoM here in Alberta, but has yet to say what he is doing politically. Remember him from the conference in Edmonton? I really liked his talk....didn't he say something about meeting on the steps? I have been in touch with FoM before, and the people that attended that rally received us well.
Oh May, sunshine, warmth, green, ease of travel, no toques......

Michele

AM-I was trying to stick to those pertaining to allergies etc. (Mental health applies because lack of clear label laws will cause undo stress! Occupation Health and Safety apply do to scents in the workplace)
I think it's wonderful that you saw fireworks when you met your husband! :rofl

Michele-That sounds wonderful!

In Alberta May 15-21 2011 Education week
Education Week was established more than 75 years ago to call attention to the importance of education and to show the public some of the good things happening in Alberta schools. The theme of this year’s education week is Education: The Heart of Our Communities.

Well, I guess it would make sense here in Alberta to tie the weeks together somehow.
