Thanks for posting this info. I had just started thinking about Easter and what I would do with my DD's allergies.

I went to the dollar store and picked up a package, it's a mini dressform with 3 fabrics and some details to create fashions all for $1.50. We're going to have a chocolate making party (Yikes!)
I'll get her a few more things and maybe some quarters in the Easter Eggs...

Sounds like fun, Susan.

For non-food ideas, I'm a big fan of making felt bunnies or ducks with kids, with felt or the moving 'bead' eyes. If you need a pattern, there will be some on crafts sites.

Also, when last on Martha Stewart's site, I noticed she had paper bag Easter crafts: http://www.marthastewart.com/article/paper-bag-pet-puppets?backto=true&backtourl=/photogallery/homemade-toys-and-games#slide_1

I have always started with a book or movie for Easter. I still do this even with 1 adult child and the other not far behind. We have always loved veggie tales videos. :thumbsup

FYI, back by popular demand in our next e-letter, we'll feature an updated allergy-friendly candy list. Watch for it!

I've picked up a build your own solar powered robot from a local dollar store- I'm amazed at what you can find!
I've also picked up some thick, sparkly, chenille yarn in bright Eastery colours. I don't know what dd will make with it, but I know it will appeal to her.
