Just picked up a refill for the Epipen for my son (in University) and when I saw the new format, was very surprized at how big it is! He keeps it in his front pocket, and the new bulkier format is going to be a problem :frightened . So, I talked to the pharmacy and they called he Dr. who called in a prescription for Twinjet.

Both Epipen & Twinjet are 12 month expirys and the Twinject was less expensive, eventhough it contains two doses . . . . .weird.

So, he has more epi than he needs, but I'm hoping with the Twinject he'll continue to be able to carry it in his pocket comfortably and keep the Epi for his Backpack or GF's purse.

It's all in the details. . . .

Momtobunches, I know it's not the pharmacist's fault. he doesn't keep them in stock.

if I was dealing with the provincial plan your suggestion might help. But the insurance company won't budge.
