Hi Drl7, I don't believe the magazines have been mailed yet. For some reason I seem to get mine a day after they are mailed, Ottawa post office workers must drink extra coffee or something.

I, like you am anxiously awaiting my spring issue. :happydance

Me too! We did some travelling over spring break and I was looking in all the airports down south to buy if I spotted it...would have been great to have the first of the U.S. one in my collection....no such luck. Now I'm home and patiently waiting......getting busy for May :banana

Actually - the mags are in the mail now and starting to land.

We've been just deluged with requests - post-mailing - for subscriptions that include the first issue. Being the proud new owners of a 2nd AL magazine, we decided to oblige. So the April 15th cutoff is for a 2nd round of mailing.

Busy times here, but we're feeling very positive about it all. :D

Well said Alberta Well said.
I have never been a magazine gal, never bought them just to read, didn't even flip through them waiting for an appt.. I am a book gal! Then I bought my first Allergic Living and WOW!!! Every single article is interesting, insightful. Every detail and product advertisement is there with a purpose and not just a filler. Like Alberta said you can feel the passion and the love for the magazine come through.
So thank you to A.L. :thanksign

I get the tech. thing also, I have never had any interest in video games, computer etc.. Allergic Living was the first time I ever (sad but true) used our computer for more than just plain old email. I had never even been on a chat forum before of any kind. When our son was diagnosed (began his stream of ana. reactions) I had no where to go. This link was somewhere on the dozens of papers our allergist gave us and I am so thankful is one I looked up.
I only joined fb recently and I'm glad to see you joined also Alberta...I KNEW I could tempt you with the A.L. face book page. :rofl I use fb mainly for Allergy related sites but that is what works for me.
:huggy

...oh and Alberta Advocate...on the A.L. face book page look on the mid left side where it says LIKES, if you click see all it take you to dozens of great allergy sites.

Yes, but it was the nicest diversion I've ever taken. Thanks AA and BC2007 for your fabulous support.
It is appreciated more than I can say.

Just e-mailed our gang with this thread - they will love it. :huggy

Now back to the issue: everybody, let us know when you get yours what you liked most. Or any feedback you want to give. Happy reading, all.
