I was going to post about my favorites here but then I saw it said "new".
I'll post anyway.... BIG country fan here!!! (Paul Brandt *SIGH*) I have CMT on almost all day at my house. I'm also a fan of classical music and I've recently come across an up and coming singer named Elaine Laverty. Very pretty voice!
Does anyone here like soundtracks? I have ALOT of soundtracks... drives my hubby crazy. I also REALLY like Disney music... sad huh? Josh really appreciates it though LOL
Robin
P.S. Sorry I babbled... it's close to bed time here

Not brand spanking new, but "newish"... I'm really into The Arcade Fire right now.

Thanks, Susan...in case anyone is interested in my favourite :happydance song is...... Roger Miller, You Can't Rollerskate in a Buffalo Herd. One of his many, he did King of the Road too as well as many others. Oh my gosh, I'm dating myself, but the kids really liked the oldies when they were little. My DD when she was not 3 yet...sang Goodnight Irene (not Roger Miller) to me in the tub one night just out of the blue...my mom had taught her...one of my very best memories. Anyway, check out that happy dance song...your kids will think it's funny.

I'm going to be hearing that song over and over in my head now. My dad and I used to listen to Roger Miller a lot.

I bet you liked Honky Honky the Christmas Goose too.

Never heard of that one....actually, I guess I like that Roger Miller song because of my parents too. I have a very wide range of likes when it comes to music...I guess that's because I've been exposed to a lot of different kinds. I make my kids listen to all sorts...and they don't mind and always surprise adults with what they recognize. I have been a radio channel surfer for many years.

Here is someone new... http://www.monicamunro.com/ easy listening. She was selling her cd's door to door the other night and I bought it on a whim, not knowing and was very pleasantly surprised. Apparently she is trying to reach a goal? on sales (platinum) Very nice young lady.

Tony Bennett's new collection....kicks it off with Lady Gaga, soooo gooood. I haven't listened all the way through, but I know I will enjoy the whole cd by the looks of his guests. Another good one like that is Ray Charles.

The Foo Fighters are coming here near halloween....I have like them for a long time too....for their music....now I like them even more for their attitude.

There is a song out there I really like by Foster the People. Its one of those songs though, you sing along....and then you think...what the who-ha did I just sing? Like that one (can't remember who by) thats goes..."I'm a loser, baby, so why don't cha kill me"
