Hearing her story again on the radio was much easier than watching her on the video clip. Very sad.

All of us, including our children, have signed organ donor cards. (we signed the kids)

:(

So sad, one min. fine the next not.
It sure hits close to home with a teen daughter in the home. All donor cards are already signed.
I pray her mother can go a long way with this campaign to get signatures or the law changed on the must sign to say NO. It is a thought.

Is that what her mom is working on? It is really a great idea when you think about it. For those morally opposed they can make it known. Millions who aren't opposed just don't bother to sign.

With a signed donor's card, does a donor's family have to approve it when called upon? Or is it a given?

A donor saved my brother-in-law's life. :huggy

I guess we could find out some more info and get on board with her.....it would be a very good change......I love moms that make changes for such sensible things....and in the midst of tragedy, celebrating your child's life by helping others..... it really shouldn't take much to change this...
