Happy Easter! DS had so much fun with DD this morning. His favorite treat was the Easter bunny tongs shaped to pick up eggs which he uses to pick up all the plastic eggs (which the Easter Bunny hid mini Easter erasers inside) . :swing The Easter bunny brought scrap booking goodies for DD and big popped corn buckets (ds is loving the buckets as he scammed popped corn for breakfast  ) . The Easter bunny also hid Easter rubber duckies and a plastic watering can for the bathtub (and yes, he already had a bath so he could use it.. :rofl .
You know, with little food and lots of tiny goodies I think the kids actually had more fun. :thumbsup
Another good thing about allergies...thinking outside the box!

Love it!

Happy Easter all. :huggy

I'm just about to make icing for Cybele Pascal's beautiful Red Velvet Cake (the one that's in the Spring 10 issue of AL mag.) to take to dinner with close friends.

No major allergens and gf
Goddaughter is celiac and DF, so she'll love.

That is if I don't screw up the icing. :rofl
I'm winging it with Earth Balance spread (soy-free version). Let's hope it works - fingers crossed and onward – with spatula.

Dd had a great Easter with a soft stuffed ducky, a 3D pinart, fashion toy (Barbie manequin, fabric etc), medelling clay, giant bubble wand, "pepsi" rubber ball and several plastic eggs filled with safe candy. She made her own chocolate Easter bunny.

The turkey is baking and we're having chocolate eggcups filled with whipped topping and strawberries for dessert.

She's made friends with 3 girls her age in our neighbourhood and has spent the past 3 days playing with them.

So far, it's been a good Easter! :happydance
