back to the cards again....cleaned out my truck and found info I had picked up

http://www.staplescopyandprint.ca/Print ... dInfo.aspx

I remember back in the eighties what a hassle it was when we moved from town to town putting in a pipeline and having to order cards every few weeks and wait for cards to come....this is just so easy now. Love that easy button.

I do like the card idea aa. If you come up with what you will be putting on it do share would love to see it. Where you going to make it specific to your daughters allergies or run the spectrum of what allergies are about?? Don't forget to put a teal ribbon on it. :thumbsup

The owners of Canadian allergy aware product company Blue Bear Aware are so inspired by our allergy ribbon campaign here at allergic living as well as my daughter's art work that they are creating new allergy awareness products!!! :banana :banana :banana

I emailed them over a year ago asking if they had any plain allergy aware shirts that I could buy for our daughter to wear while doing her allergy aware presentations. They didn't have any but Blue Bear did mail her a staff 'got allergies' shirt to wear. I let them know then that allergy shirts, not for just kids with allergies but for adults would be a great idea. A few months ago when we all got to talking about awareness shirts I emailed them back and told them about our teal ribbon campaign. I figured companies can't offer what we want if we don't tell them what there is a market for. I don't know them but have bought shirts from them for Ds and I can tell they are a very community, allergy aware company.
The owners did in fact email me back and wanted to know all about our campaign and the teal ribbons. By this point Allergic Living had mentioned it in their news letter and FAAN is now offering some kind of teal bracelet. I believe they are both graphic artists (I 'think' sisters but not sure) they really like dd's art work posted on Allergic Living.

So 'Blue Bear Aware' said they would be proud to be part of this grass roots campaign and they said they would love to hope on the band wagon with us. :happydance

...And Alberta, I love the idea about cards. Be sure to post a picture when you are done. Took me a while to figure it out but look down on this page and you will see the brownish 'upload attachment' bar, under it hit browse to attach an image from your hard drive.

Great idea!

Hey  Gwen, what if in the A.L. magazine, there were cards (perforated), you know, so many to page? one page oughta do quite a few, with the directions to get here (the magazine & forum)to the people that we all meet out and about and are willing to learn a little or lot more?

Great idea. So many times I'm finding scrap paper and writing with eye liner in order to give someone the name of the magazine . I find it awful that some allergic parents haven't heard of Allergic Living Magazine. But I bet they loose the piece of paper, to have a page even if it just had lines to cut out little mini A.L. advertisements would be super.
