Allergic to fragranges, penicillin, some othe antibiotics, prilosec, silicones,many body washes and shampoos, toothpastes, and CLARITIN!! and im sure to much more things/drugs i never tried.

Wow, what have you found that worksfor you?

You may need to go to a compound pharmacy if you need medications.

Sometimes a patient can't use the standard version of a drug because of an allergy to one of its ingredients. If that ingredient is "inactive," meaning it has no therapeutic role, a compounder might make a similar drug minus that ingredient--say, without the dye used for coloring; or without lactose, a filler in many classes of drugs, from decongestants to antibiotics to chemotherapy medicines.

I found this interesting. I have been having reactions to hair dye for a while and always assumed it was the ammonia. Kept reacting even though I switched to ammonia free colours. Hmmm...
