I'm devastated to bring you more tragic news - another teenager has died from an allergic reaction.

The following is from Ana Wigger, whom many of you know as the Alberta organizer for a Sabrina's Law in that province:

We have had some devastating news here in Edmonton. A 13 year old girl has died from an allergic reaction to peanuts on Dec. 23/05. We have not yet determined whether it was in school. Please see this link for info: http://www.edmontonsun.com/News/Edmonto ... 2-sun.html

Please folks - do anything you can to help Ana in Alberta and Pam Schroeder in B.C. with their respective efforts to get anaphylaxis laws in the schools. See the discussion under Schools - Anaphylaxis Laws. This has to stop!

Is there some way that we can do something for this family - is there a way we could organize something through this forum? Anyone have any ideas?

Sure we could, not sure what people would like to do.

Open to ideas.

Ana may have some thoughts. Think she was going to be speaking to the parents.

Usually a local newspaper is willing to forward cards to a family.

Just realized that there is an online guestbook. It is a nice way to extend condolences.

I see people from as far away as Ireland have signed. And Sabrina's dad and aunt. So sad.
