On Wed. Jan 4, the Bill Carroll show 8:30 am - noon will include a segment regarding whether a law will be enough to protect children with food allergies. This is "talk radio", open to the general public, so the views heard should be quite varied. I'm not sure what time this particular segment will run.

AM 1010. You can also listen to it online at www.cfrb.com.

Did anyone happen to listen to this program? I would be interested to hear about it. I waited until 10:30, but couldn't wait any longer (I hoped it would be one of the earlier topics, but the recent gun violence in Toronto took precedence I guess)

I'm sorry I missed this one. I'd be interested to hear his view on it. A few months back, there was a similar segment on CFRB, though I can't remember if it was Bill Carrol or not. I can remember screaming at the radio in my car. The general consensus of the host and the callers was that schools and employers were bowing to the demands of a small minority and that people with allergies should just deal with it.
