Our local mall has a yearly Christmas train display courtesy of the Lions Club. Today while DS was well entertained I chatted with the Lions Club member on 'shift'. I thanked him for the support the lions club gives to the medic Alert, no child without program. He was THRILLED to hear feedback as he is the head of the group in our area and they've never heard a word good or bad. I got his email and said I'd send him a letter and he could forward it on to the national group.
I wasn't aware but each local group supports their local schools which is how they cover all of Canada.
He was excited to see DS bracelet but I'd taken off the emblem on his bracelet as it makes it too long . I keep meaning to send a thank you but didn't get around to it. So....just wanted to encourage everyone to send a quick thank you to the Lions Club!

Wow, good to know!
Maybe we can encourage others to give feedback. It isn't just 'our' children. It's all medical conditions.
