Do you have any good blogs dealing to allergy-related issues that you read? What do you like about them?

Like an online diary? It's short for "web log"

I keep one. It's here!

What an odd time to read that question.

I have been considering writing a fictional blog. (My own life is really just tooooo boring.) I had started a book, but kept getting stuck. I realized that what I want to write would work best in a diary format.[/i]

ygg is my name. Rather, it's the nickname I've used online for well over a decade. I was still a minor when I first got online, so I never used my real name. ygg has stuck with me. I never capitalized it then, so I don't capitalize it now.

For what it's worth, ygg is old Norse--it means ash (tree). I've always been fond of ash trees.

All these years, and I never knew ygg actually meant something (and never thought to ask). I just assumed it was your initials.

Years of hives and eczema. ;)

My actual initials are JDP. It's much easier to pronounce ygg.

I'm with AnnaMarie... never knew what it ment and never thought to ask either

I'll just add a little sales pitch here for those interested. There are other forums out there with really nice people who also deal with allergies. I've been on the Food Allergy Survivor Together forum since 1999 and it's great! (not just because I'm a moderator  ). Come and visit the website http://www.angelfire.com/mi/FAST/ There are some great articles and also a Journal coming out at the beggining of August with articles writen by many members.
