It isn't just the safe meal...it is being made to feel like it is no bother, like you aren't a hassle or an inconvenience. THAT is just as important as a safe meal. :happydance

:happydance You said it perfectly! I don't think my mini review did justice to how safe and welcomed we felt at our Moxies!

We continue to receive wonderful service from Moxies. I sent their head office an email thanking them for the great food allergy awareness and accommodations. :)

Glad to know people are still having good experiences there. I love Moxies, but something about the size of the menu and restaurant is overwhelming to me (in terms of allergy control).

Ate at a different Moxie's (St. Vital) and they were good too. I made it easy on them by ordering the exact meal I had at the other location including letting them know anchovies was the one ingredient that the other chef was concerned about which is fine for me. I like how they do take it seriously but not overboard about it.

The friend I dined with says she has allergies but they are, in my opinion, intolerances and it was interesting to hear the Manager ask her questions about it - they definitely understand food allergies at our locations!

Not sure if this has already been posted, but they have an allergy guide now. It says it's for mild allergies (which is odd wording), but it seems like they are anti-peanut, so might be ok for my PA kids to have some grilled cheese/fries, they really want to go to a restaurant soon

They have this chart in store as well and they often bring it to me when I mention allergies. The 'mild allergy chart' wording is definitely weird. I'm curious that they include garlic and onion but not sesame on the chart.
