I'm traveling to Australia in a few weeks for my honeymoon and have an allergy to soybean. If anyone has recommendations on places that I could eat that are soy allergy accommodating in Sydney, Ayers Rock, the Daintree Rainforest and Port Douglas would be great....

I checked with Anaphylaxis and Allergy Awareness Australia, and recieved this message:

Here in Australia most places cater for allergies these days. They only ask for this to be mentioned when booking so they can ensure they can cater for you. But i wouldnt imagine anywhere in specific to suggest, I have never heard of allergy restaurants. Post Douglas, make sure this person have plenty of memory cards for their camera, thats another tip! I had my Honeymoon there, LOVED IT!!! Tell them, 'Thala Resort' they cannot go wrong staying there! :)Like · Reply · 7 hours ago

Soy is one of our top8 allergens and so has mandatory labelling...as mentioned above if you phone ahead and speak with the chef they will be able to accommodate you....we have trouble eating out but that is only because of the NON top 8 allergens that we are dealing with(so very difficult to determine if they are present in foods)

Have a great holiday!
