I know that this time of year is always a little (ok and sometimes a LOT) filled with anxiety for me....

I am hoping that everyone is settling into the new school year and that things are off to a positive, supportive start

(nice for me... this year my DD led the meeting with her new teacher discussing her needs and how to share information for her grade level. when did that maturity take place?! little guy's class received a letter but even before that, a mom reached out to let me know bday treats were planned so we could plan something suitable for us)

here's hoping we all have a GOOD, SAFE, SUPPORTED and EMPOWERED year!

Lovely note, Renie.

How great that your daughter led the discussion. You must be proud.

I second this motion:

Thanks Gwen!

Very happy for my DD's adjustment into the year and super-proud that she stepped up on the self-advocacy

Thanks to everyone for the posts, messages and sharing of experiences (the good and the ones we all learn from) as they have certainly helped us arrive where we are
