The Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools Board of Education has taken the first step in bringing a single allergy policy to Saskatchewan schools.

The board passed a resolution Monday night recommending “that the Ministry of Education, in consultation the Saskatchewan School Boards Association and other relevant stakeholders, lead a process to develop a provincial policy guiding the appropriate policy and procedures to effectively address the needs of students and staff with anaphylactic allergic reactions"

On November 12Th, at their annual general meeting, the Saskatchewan School Boards Association will vote on this resolution. Now is your chance to make your views known! Call your principles, your school boards, your MLA's and let them know what you think about a province wide food allergy policy/legislation. Every phone call, every email can make a difference.  :happydance :banana
