Forgive me if they has been discussed before, but are there any safe hotdogs? DS is allergic to milk, egg, peanuts, tree nuts and shellfish. DH bought some 100% beef hotdogs which don't have any of these listed, but I'm always a little suspicious of products that don't have a "may contain" listing. Plus, it's hot dogs and I can't shake the "what they heck is really in there" feeling. I'd call the number on package and ask, but DH took them out and put them in a ziplock and now can't remember which brand it was. Anyone know of any safe hotdogs?

Thanks! My oldest loves hotdogs and now my youngest has been asking to try them! Good to know these are safe and easy to find!

How about Piller's Simply Free? We are dealing with different allergies than you, but my mom has used them and said they were good. Here are the ingredients:

Ingredients

Pork, water, potato starch, sea salt, vinegar, spices, cane sugar, cultured celery extract, onion, garlic, smoke.

Whereabouts are you located? We have a brand of organic chicken and turkey hot dogs that we buy, but they're very local and probably only available here (Vancouver area). If you are near here, I'll look them up. We have also eaten other brands, but I can't remember off the top of my head what they are - possibly the beef ones from Costco? We have similar allergens, except we are not avoiding shellfish.
