We use Bionature Extra Virgin Olive Oil because DS has always been fine with it. I wrote to the distributor but didn't get a reply.

I also use Barleens flax seed oil and also Mazola, and Wild Oats Canola oil for baking.

DS is allergic to dairy, eggs, peanuts, treenuts and sesame. He has reacted to X contam in Spectrum oils and several brands of flax seed oil. I would like to know what you all use. Thanks!

Hi, I can't be of much help here because I haven't called to see if my oils are safe, and it sounds like your son is more sensitive to reacting to trace amounts than I am. But thanks for the heads up about the spectrum. I've wondered whether the Spectrum oils (like canola) that are processed are safe (I did actually buy their canola oil once)...and I haven't had trouble with their olive oil...but I will definitely avoid them in future.
