Hi all -

Gwen Smith, Allergic Living Editor, will be in Vancouver next week and will be interviewed by Shelagh Rogers on CBC's Sounds Like Canada on Tuesday April 18th. The show starts at 10 a.m. (all time zones).

Apparently Shelagh wants to talk a lot about magazine publishing/Allergic Living, but Gwen is hoping they'll get into food allergy talk as well, as Shelagh is allergic to wheat.

The show's web page is at http://www.cbc.ca/soundslikecanada/. You can listen to the show live on the Internet, but give yourself a few minutes to get things set up, as you have to select what city you are listening from.

K.

REQUEST Could anyone that thinks of it, please raise this post Tuesday morning so it shows up under the current posts. If I think of it I'll raise it, but I might forget.

I'm listening to it right now... from the UK. I noted the time (it's 5pm here right now) so I clicked on Regina. If you miss it, you can still catch it in an hour if you click on Vancouver. :D

I cannot believe I didn't think of that Storm.

I tried listening this morning, but my computer is in an extremely difficult mood this week. It kept clicking off, then back on.

I'm hoping it will show up on the site though, I noticed there are some past interviews that they have available.

If you go to http://www.cbc.ca/soundslikecanada/, you can access the sound file to listen to the interview.

It likely will only be at this particular web page this week, and then they'll probably archive it.

Go to "Highlights from Tuesday, April 18" and click on the link to hear the interview. I thought it was really good. I am so proud and thankful to have Gwen as one of our "allergy ambassadors"!!
