Is anybody thinking of attending this trade show for people with allergies and asthma?

For anyone interested in attending, but concerned about the expense of staying in Toronto, apparently on the web-site www.allergyexpo.com they have some less expense accomodations arranged. (This info came from someone that posted on another allergy site.)

My husband and I are DEFINTELY going. Our 3 year old son has multiple food allergies, so I can't wait to learn more, and hear some great tips on living with food allergies!

I'm going. You can get a $2 coupon on the Allergy Expo website by filling out a short survey.

Definitely going to this EXpo. Can't think of a safer place to have my son roaming around. If you are a Medic Alert member, you should have gotten a $3 off coupon with your last newsletter.

HI,
My hubby and I are going too...we booked our rooms today.
What I find...well...don't know what to call it but they don't have a posting here about what hotels are recommended for people with allergies and asthama???

Sure would be nice to have a list of them handy. We booked were we always stay in T.O. Lower floor, no smoking and we have to request them not to use air fresheners before we go. I wouldn't mind paying a bit more to be assured.
Sue :-)

Yes, I'm attending...really looking forward to getting more information about my son's allergies and asthma.
It'll be nice to connect with others who are in a similar situation -- (that's also why forums like this one are so great and truly appreciated!) :D

My husband and I were very impressed with the Allergy Expo. We attended talks all day Saturday and Sunday morning, and came home feeling very well-informed. There were quite a number of products available for purchase, and it was great to actually see the product prior to purchase (it's a little difficult selecting children's books without first seeing them!) I truly hope this will be an annual event!
