I have just checked the Arthur website and it is apparently playing on
KCTS Seattle at 8:30 am on Sunday May 21st.
You may want to check and see if you can get it in your area on satelite.

I sure hope it helps.

My mom just got a recordable DVD Player so I'm going to see if I can get it on DVD. (If I can figure out how the thing works before then.)

I e-mailed the Arthur Website in March asking how to get "Binky Goes Nuts" through the teacher section and I followed through on the response I received. I am an occassional teacher but they would not allow me to order the video because I am not affiliated with one school in particular. So if you are interested in your childs class seeing this video, you could try encouraging your classroom teacher to order it.

ARTHUR episode “Binky Goes Nuts”
now available for purchase to educators!

When Binky discovers that he’s allergic to peanuts, he has so many questions:
Will he be forced to live without Chinese food? Will he ever again be able to
eat with his friends? And most importantly, will his Mom ever calm down? Binky
learns that the best way not to go nuts is to be well informed, and to
understand his allergy. In the live-action interstitial that follows the
animated story, we meet Kellie and Kristen of Kellie’s Candies in Wilmington,
MA. Both girls are allergic to nuts, but they show us their home factory and
prove that nut-free chocolates can be delicious.

“Binky Goes Nuts” is available on VHS to educators only, for $12.95, plus
shipping and handling and tax, where applicable. Quantities are limited, so
order fast!

To place an order, please call WGBH Boston Video at 800-949-8670, and select
option 1 to speak with our educational department.

If you would like to order by mail, please send Purchase Orders, including $5.95
for USPS shipping and handling, to:

Thanks Joelle - that's great to know.

Although to be honest, it seems a bit short-sighted of them to restrict it to educators. I bet they would sell a lot if they opened up their market to include anyone.

I'm still trying to see this episode myself...if anyone knows when it's next expected to air, please post here. It does seem odd that they'd limit their sales to teachers, given that it's usually the parents of kids with allergies who would be willing to purchase such a product for the benefit of their child (and lend out to their child's school, etc.).

I just did a search on TVO's website and it seems that the "Binky Goes Nuts" episode is going to air again this week, on Thursday October 19th at 4:55pm. So set your VCR's! :D

The Arthur episode "Binky Goes Nuts" was released on DVD on April 24, 2007 according to http://www.onvideo.org/calendar/dvd_07d.htm ... Has anyone seen it in stores in Canada?

The only online source I've found so far is
http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7371612
but I'd rather get it locally if I can...
