Researchers in Israel have stumbled upon an intriguing finding: after studying 13, 000 infants they found that those who were introduced to cow’s milk within the first two weeks of life had a lesser chance of developing milk allergy.
The study was actually trying to determine the prevalence of cow’s milk allergy and how often it is accompanied by soy allergy, but in doing so they found those who were first fed cow’s milk after 15 days old had 19 times the risk of developing cow’s milk allergy compared to those exposed earlier.
