Fortunately, I knew what it was because we wrote about it in Asthma Allergies Children: a parent’s guide. I started being more careful about how I dress when I go outside–funny how few gloves and scarves you lose when you have this nuisance condition. I take antihistamines before I go out and rub a bit of a steroidal ointment on the parts of my face that are likely to be exposed.

I took a walk in the cold with a friend. sooo scary as my limbs swelled and entire body turned into welts. i was prescribed Allegra and that seemed to help with preventions of a breakout. Only recently did i find a couple more and decided to Google this. Through some articles i have found that it is often linked to an autoimmune disease. i was recently diagnosed with graves disease and can’t help to think there isn’t some sort of link. Funny how it now all coming together. i can relate to the embarrassment and wonder. Often times i developed them after hopping out of water on even a hot day.
