We often include soy substitutes for the dairy allergic, as they&#039;re easy to find. (FYI, I&#039;m soy allergic, but don&#039;t deny that soy-based products are useful to the DF.) 

Re coconut - if you&#039;re dealing with a nut allergy, make sure you do have to avoid it - I&#039;d check with my allergist if unsure. Coconut is considered a seed not a nut by most allergists. However, if your son is specifically allergic to coconut, I is there another full fat milk that might work for you with this recipe? e.g. the oat milks or hemp milk? Might be worth an experiment, doesn&#039;t take long to make this and it is very tasty.]]></description>
