Families’ Inspiring Films Reveal
the Realities of Anaphylaxis

Allergic Living’s editors are excited to share news that five films created by amateur filmmakers have been chosen to be honored as part of the Anaphylaxis: For Reel™ national anaphylaxis awareness campaign. These inspiring films have just been released for viewing at Anaphylaxis101.com.

From dining at restaurants, to dating, bullying and beyond, the films most effectively drive home the realities of potentially life-threatening (severe) allergies.
The filmmakers – American families and children who are managing food allergies – have been invited to New York City to take part in a premiere of their films, hosted by Sarah Jessica Parker.
The accomplished actor, producer and businesswoman is the mother of a son with severe allergies, and has joined Mylan for the Anaphylaxis: For Reel™ initiative.
She knows from her child’s experience just how serious anaphylaxis, a life-threatening allergic reaction, can be – and how crucial it is to take proactive steps to manage severe allergies.

Sangalis embraces the motto: “Live Life Well,” and in his film, he demonstrates how support from his entire family has helped him avoid his allergic triggers and be ready to respond if a life- threatening allergic reaction occurs.
